Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board (APBB) observed the International Day for Biological Diversity day on 22^nd May, 2020 with the theme “Our Solutions are in Nature”. Keeping in view of the prevailing Pandemic COVID-19 situation, the Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board observed the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) 2020 in the following ways:

Awareness and publicity among the general masses was done through digital media newspapers, radio jingles, postering and other social media platforms.
Awareness on the importance of Biodiversity on the day of IDB was spread through All India Radio, Itanagar which was aired in 13 different dialects including English and Hindi and was also aired in Arun FM (local FM) in English and Hindi for 5 consecutive days from 18th -22nd May, 2020. Television Interview on the importance of Biodiversity Conservation was also broadcasted in Arunachal Mirror (Channel).
The posters of IDB was published in different local dailies of the state and also an article on the importance of biodiversity and on the theme Our Solutions are in Nature was published for creating awareness.
